Why can’t my applications connect to the internet?

Sean Walker asked: Firefox can connect to the Internet, but I think that’s it.
Trillian, pokerstars, xfire.. etc all don’t work.
Windows firewall is off, and I just deleted zonealarm.
any tips?Poker is boring

Can’t connect to wireless network with firefox?
